Imagine trying to organise an event right now. Will you be allowed to gather? Will borders be open? Will people want to come?
But some festival organisers are going ahead anyway. Hell, we have to hope that good times are coming :)
The Conscious Dance Festival (24-31 July in France) gives you the opportunity to wrench your body out of the sitting-on-the-sofa-with-your-phone posture and express yourself in movement rather than emojis.
The Polish Tantra Festival (25th June - 4th July in Poland) is on its 9th edition and, while we don’t know how shamanism relates to relationships, consciousness and sexuality, no doubt all will be explained at the Here & Now Centre.
The Festival of Creativity (7-15 August in the Czech Republic) now has a new location on a mountain with tumbling streams, forest, a lake and sunset views in what’s going to be a magical 8 days of creative workshops and music around the fire. Learn anything from creative writing to theatre improv, from yoga to fire-making, with women’s and men’s circles, poetry evenings and storytelling at night. No phones or alcohol in sight.
There are plenty more events listed on our main festivals calendar though truthfully we can’t keep up with which ones are going ahead or not. I’ve read all about people getting together to meditate for world peace, is anyone chanting for the end of the pandemic?
Have a great summer,
Tom Thumb
